2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Site, we may collect:

  • Payment information: we do not store full card numbers. Card and instant-EFT payments are processed directly by our third-party payment gateway, which is independently responsible for the security of that data.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: any information you provide when contacting our support team.

3. Why we process your information

We process personal information for the following purposes, and on the following lawful grounds under POPIA:

  • To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders (performance of a contract).

  • To communicate with you about your order, including delivery updates and support queries (performance of a contract / legitimate interest).
  • To comply with legal and tax record-keeping obligations (legal obligation).

  • To detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site (legitimate interest).

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your basket contents, keep you logged in, and understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. We retain order and account information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, including the statutory record-keeping periods required under South African tax and consumer protection law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, out of date, incomplete, misleading, or unlawfully obtained personal information.

  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa if you believe your personal information has been processed unlawfully.
